Some History Pictures
Monday July 02 07
1700hrs Went for one last walk around town and then down to the Bay. The tide was out so I went searching and found alot of snails and a shrimp looking creature trapped in the tidal pools. Bug jacket required (thanks John). I collected sand and water in urine sample bottles. I wonder what airport security will say? I have also added about 50lbs of rocks to my luggage.

Afternoon Parade and BBQ
Only in the North can you throw candies to the kids so they run into the road to pick them up and then parachute cherry bombs (firecrackers) on the crowd. I loved it. Felt right at home.
0930hrs Polar Relay

Beluga Teen Beluga Teen Beluga2 Mom and Baby
Got to help with the staff BBQ, wonderful lunch.
0830hrs Well, the Belugas still aren't cooperating. Their
babies are here too. I'll
keep trying. Apparently the Orcas come through here too. It is hard to fall
asleep. It doesn't get dark until tomorrow and then only for hours.
Yesterday started off with two Stat calls but so far today all is quiet. I
started the morning with an ambulance check and cleaning. I love playing with
the lights. I need to keep remembering that the 100volt plug doesn't auto-eject
when you start the bus.
