Eskwisis
Has a new Home,
Thank you Melissa and family for adopting
Eskwisis,
she'll be
coming home on Monday with me.
Eskwisis ( girl in Cree) spent the night with her leg caught in a fence before she adopted us. I am not sure about her age but will check her out more tomorrow. Today was more get comfy and food and water. And of course a bit of lovin'.
I made her a bed and a little room. When I came back she had
already found a better bed.

When am I going to my new family?
Our schedule is, Eskwisis wakes up and if I'm here, we go outside for a walk. She does her business, then we come back in and she goes and has a snack and a drink. Then back out for some roaming time and she goes back to the door when she's ready. Another drink or snack and then back to rearrange her bed ( I just don't make it properly), then a sleep.
I was gone for a good part of the day and the staff here let her outside. She made a bed in some tall grass and just waited. A real sweet heart.
She also walks around puddles and tries not to get dirty. She is not startled by flashing lights, lots of people running to the trucks, doors slamming, trucks starting, sirens wailing. As we pulled out today on a red, I looked back and she was just laying on her bed watching. No big deal.

When she awoke, we went for a walk. When we came back we were just hanging in my room when she found her bag of kibble. While I went to get her dish out of the bays, she knocked over the bag and was happily eating off of the floor.

Guess who's feeling way better.......movie
I was wondering who kept moving her dish. She has. Eskwisis picks it up and walks under the firetruck and puts it on a ledge where the fire men store their turnout gear. I'll try to catch her in the act. Here's where
